I am the Facilities Manager at Millshaw Court and worked very closely with Roger over the years. 

I have just returned from annual leave but knew of Rogers illness and him being in the hospital at Sheffield, so was utterly shocked to hear the very sad news on my return. 

I’d like you to know Roger was a very popular member of the security team.  We often had long chats about ‘the world’ and how we would make it better. 

He was a lovely, positive man and a pleasure to work with.  Nothing was too much trouble for him and he was a great asset to the team.  
I can only hope that you take some solace from these words and knowing that he will be greatly missed.

Life will never be the same for you all without Roger, but I would like to wish you all the best for the future and to cherish the memories you have of him.
